Sapins de Noël // Christmas trees
Le coin devant le métro Mont-Royal est toujours vivant, mais particulièrement avant (et pendant) le temps des fêtes. Il y a un kiosque de sapins de Noël, où nous avons acheté le nôtre cette année. Cette femme que j’ai remarquée en ce temps-là avait l’air d’être prête pour une promenade en traîneau! Joyeuses Fêtes!

The area in front of the Mont-Royal metro station is always lively, but especially so before (and during) the holiday season. There is a Christmas tree stand there, where we bought ours this year. This woman I noticed that evening looked ready for a sleigh ride! Happy Holidays!

Voici une image du zine que j’ai presenté à l’Expozine 2013 le mois dernier. En fait, j’avais remarqué cette étudiante en portant cette écharpe énorme en septembre! Heureusement, le temps ont fait beau après. Mais j’espère qu’elle la porte aujourd’hui!!

Here is an image from the zine that I presented at Expozine 2013 last month. I had actually noticed this enormous scarf on a student back in September! Luckily, the weather improved after that. But I hope she’s wearing it today!

Expozine 2013
J’ai passé une fin de la semaine fantastique à Expozine 2013 comme exposante, le 16 et le 17 novembre. Expozine est une foire annuelle de petits éditeurs, bande dessinées et fanzines http://expozine.ca/. C’est très génial d’y assister comme membre du grand public et également comme exposante! Merci à tous qui sont y venus pour dire bonjour et pour me supporter!

I had a great weekend as a first time exhibitor at Expozine 2013, November 16th and 17th. Expozine is an annual small press, comic and zine fair held in Montreal http://expozine.ca/en/. It is great fun both to attend and (as I learned this year) to be an exhibitor! Thank you to everyone who came out to say hi and support me!

Dans le fil d’attente chez un magasin de lingerie très populaire au centre-ville. La diversité de styles de la gamme prouve ce un grand assortiment de clients viennent au magasin. Tout le monde a besoin des sous-vêtements!
Waiting in line to buy underwear at a very popular lingerie store downtown. The diverse range of styles in the lineup proves what a huge assortment of customers come to this store. Everyone needs underwear!
Toujours au magasin de lingerie: ce soutien-gorge accrocheur sur un mannequin a attiré beaucoup d’attention. Je doute que cela soit porté sous n’importe quoi s’il a été acheté.
Still at the lingerie store: this eye-catching bra on a mannequin attracted a lot of attention. I doubt it would be worn under anything if purchased.
