En sortant le métro Sherbrooke le dernier mercredi soir, il faisait frais, mais les couleurs de cette jupe me rappelaient de l’été.

Leaving the Sherbrooke metro last Wednesday night, it was cool out but the colours in this skirt reminded me of summer.

En terminant ma course la semaine dernière, j’ai remarqué cette femme dans le parc — étant dimanche après-midi, elle semblait aller en direction de Tam-Tams.

While finishing my run last week I noticed this woman in the park – it being Sunday afternoon, she seemed to be going in the direction of the Tam-Tams.

Pour ceux qui veulent prendre une pause, il y a une aire de repos au bord de l’eau au parc Jean-Drapeau.

For those who want to take a break, there is a relaxation area at the water’s edge in Jean Drapeau Park.

 

 

Une des joies nombreuses de l’été à Montréal, c’est le festival fabuleux Piknic Électronik! Le temps faisait beau ce jour-là, et il y avait une gamme incroyable des styles dans la foule. L’été se passe tellement trop vite, et je suis heureuse d’avoir été là.

One of the many joys of summer in Montréal is the the fabulous festival Piknic Electronik! The weather was beautiful that day, and there was an incredible range of styles in the crowd…summer goes by way too fast, and I am glad I made it out there.

 

Dimanche dernier au Tam-Tam, cette femme s’était assise près de moi sur la pelouse.

Last Sunday at the Tam-Tam, this woman was sitting nearby on the grass.

Au « Tam-Tam » à Montréal dimanche dernier, le beau temps a attiré beaucoup de monde. Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas le Tam-Tam de Montréal, c’est un festival tous les dimanches de mai au septembre près du monument George-Étienne Cartier au parc du Mont-Royal où des musiciens se rassemblent afin de faire de la musique ensemble. C’est une vraie fête de la danse par les spectateurs aussi! J’ai vu cette femme en dansant sur la pelouse.

At the Montréal Tam-Tam last Sunday, the beautiful weather attracted a huge crowd. For those who aren’t familiar with the Montréal Tam-Tam, it’s a festival every Sunday from May to September that takes place near the George-Etienne Cartier monument in Mount Royal park, where musicians gather to play music together. It’s a true dance party for the spectators as well! I noticed this woman dancing on the grass.

 

 

 

 

 

Dernier vendredi soir, le centre-ville était plein du monde à cause des festivités de F1. J’ai remarqué cette robe psychédélique, portée par une participante.

Last Friday night the streets of downtown were packed because of the F1 festivities. I noticed this psychedelic dress on one of the partyers.

 

 

La saison de pique-nique a commencé! J’ai remarqué cette chemise aux couleurs vives à un des plusieurs fêtes au parc La Fontaine la semaine dernière.

En promenant au centre-ville samedi matin dernier en direction de rue Ste. Catherine, j’ai remarqué cette femme, qui patientait sur le trottoir lorsque son compagnon payait les frais de stationnement.

While walking around downtown last Saturday morning towards rue Sainte- Catherine, I noticed this woman waiting on the sidewalk while her companion paid for the parking.

Je suis revenue, la semaine dernière, d’un voyage en Australie! À Melbourne, j’ai vu cette femme deux fois pendant la journée en attendant le tram. Donc, j’ai dû la dessiner!

I returned last week from a trip to Australia! In Melbourne, I saw this woman twice in one day while waiting for the tram. So of course I had to draw her!
